WHAT TO DO

Tucked into the Austrian Alps, Kitzbühel is a 750-year-old medieval town where pastel houses line cobblestone streets and the jagged Wilder Kaiser mountains tower overhead. Once a medieval mining hub, it became the birthplace of Austrian skiing in the 1890s and now hosts the world's most famous downhill race, the Hahnenkamm. Expect sun-drenched cafés, wildflower hikes, swims in the crystal-clear Schwarzsee, and cozy 500-year-old gasthaus dinners. It's a storybook town!

For Friday during the day or Saturday morning, here are a few activities we'd recommend
